Verizon Iphone 4s without data plan?
I have a verizon Iphone 4s. Right now I have an unlimited data plan which I see as a waste of money, since I only use it to check my e-mails or facebook. I asked the guy at the Verizon store if it was possible to remove the data plan and just keep my unlimited texting and minimal calling plan, he said he couldn't do that for me. Is there anyway to get around this? I like having an iphone 4s and using everything it offers, but I don't NEED to check my e-mail/facebook every second, the etra $40 seems like a waste of money. Not to mention I'm paying for four other iphones so it adds up.
All smartphones require a data plan, NO EXCEPTIONS. Check all the carriers and they will tell you the same things.
You don't wanna get rid of the verizon unlimited data… Its in demand… You must not know how to unlock phones. Or your young and dumb… Keep your plan or sell it off to someone
The only phone carrier I know that will let you have a smartphone with NO data plan is T-Mobile. I myself have an android phone, no data plan, I only use Wi-Fi for my apps.
