Verizon iPhone dead, but another line is eligible for an upgrade, contract options?
In our share everything Verizon plan, we had 1 IPhone contract activated in October 2012, and 3 in March 2013. My iPhone is broken due to water damage- it's 2 year contract is over this march.Is it possible to purchase a $200 phone through the October contract (while keeping our #s) or do I have to pay full price for an upgrade or wait until march to get a deal on a phone?
If you can (big IF) apply the upgrade to the October 2012 phone and bump that phone over to your March 2015 upgrade option assuming the Oct 2012 hasn't been upgraded yet. Big Red would then allow the new contract and $200 price and you get to keep your number. Best luck.

don't be afraid to call Verizon customer service for assistance.
You can use the upgrade on line that's eligible and switch the numbers, and then that line would get your upgrade in March. You just need to talk to Verizon about that.
You of course should probably make sure whoever is using that line is okay with you taking their upgrade though.
