Verizon signal 0-1 bars at new home using an iPhone. What do I do from here?
So here's the story. Moved to a new location, Verizon says we're on an extended tower, barely get service, drop calls 2/3 times, data is slow. Called Verizon today, they said they'll send a tech or whatever out to our area to test the connection. They told me, expect them to say I need to buy a $250 network extender, PLUS it requires internet - which I don't and will not have internet because it requires a 1 year contract for crappy service… But thats a whole different story. So my question, can I get out of my verizon contract scotch free without paying the dumb ETF? I mean, the service isn't up to par as I expected it to be, and using an iPhone is pointless now…
I have heard similar stories like this. And they eventually end up getting out of the contract with no ETF.
just complain, say you aren't going to pay for service they can't provide to you, you are not going to pay extra money for home internet because you can't afford that AND the phone service AND the extender. They should eventually let you out of the contract.
- Why does my iPhone 4 have no signal yet has full bars? My phone is on EE and doesn't connect to the internet even though i have full 3g does anyone know why? I've tried resetting it everything and nothing seems to work it does this for about 3 hours a day?
- Sprint Iphone 4 goes from 5 bars to No service and Searching? I called sprint and they tried everything on their end and told me to reset the network settings, even resetting the entire phone, and nothing helped. I read somewhere that the antenna is touchy on these phones and wearing a case may help? I would like to hear any fixes and if anyone else has had these issues. It worked completely fine the first day I had it and then it just started losing service for no reason.
