Verizon Wireless iPhone
I purchased an iPhone 5 off of amazon and I'm wondering how I will be able to activate this phone without an activation fee. My old iPhone that I sold has applecare plus on it, but I'm assuming that won't transfer? Is there a sim card I need to take out before I get rid of my old phone?
The activation fee only applies when you upgrade to a new phone with a subsidized contract. The new one should have a sim, so you should be able to just call Verizon, give them the IMEI and have them activate it on your line.
