If your iPhone is jailbroken, you could use MX Tube. I haven't used this in over a year as I no longer use an iOS device, but I assume that it will still work.
If your iPhone isn't jailbroken, then I don't know of any app that lets you do this. YouTube really hates these apps, so they get rid of them. You can however, use a program on your computer like Free YouTube Downloader to download the videos onto your computer and then sync them to your iPhone through iTunes.

There used to be an app called ProTuber that functioned just like YouTube but I could choose to download the video I'm watching to my iPhone for offline viewing and also export to my computer when connected to my PC. It's no longer in the App Store.
