What are some general ideas for an iPhone app?

I want to make some extra money for the summer, so I thought I could program an iPhone app. I have plenty of experience in computers and developing, and I know of all the requirements. I just have one problem, I don't have a single idea for the app!

I don't necessarily want specific details (although if you have a request I'll look it over), I want input on what consumers generally want to buy. Please don't give me something too general like "make a game". Try to tell me basic ideas used in most popular apps. Example: "If you choose to make an RPG game, use high definition graphics. And maybe the setting could be a sandy beach with shark villains."

Give me all your ideas! I plan to start developing the app soon, so I need all the help I can get.

  • Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused
  • In terms of general speed, how good is the Iphone 5? Does it freeze alot? Or is there a better smart phone because my contract runs out soon and I can get an upgrade Please TRY NOT TO GIVE ME BIASED ANSWERS, FOR IPHONE OR ANY OTHER PHONE. BE FACTUAL. NOT BIASED.
  • I use a $20 Alcatel phone from Dollar General. Do I need more? I have had my Dollar General phone about a year. I pay about $25 a month for airtime. I have an ebook reader and a decent camera and a calculator and an alarm on my phone. I could download a bunch of games and apps but I don't because I prefer to do that kind of thing at home on my PC. Do you consider me a loser because I don't have a $500+ iPhone? I don't. I can't imagine why anyone would ever need more than my $20 Dollar General phone.
  • Give me some ideas on how to make my old iphone like new again? I just had my iPhone 3GS unlocked and I'm using a prepaid sim. I want to keep this phone for awhile so I was wondering how can I make it really nice. I was planning on putting a new housing case on it but I don't know where to get one from. Do you know where to purchase a housing case for the 3GS? Also what other ideas do you have to make the phone really nice?
