What do i do if my Iphone 3g is frozen

This morning my phone was fine, but in my 4th period it completely froze to my facebook profile. My power button is completely broken and iphone store is useless. How do I unfreeze it.plus its not on a contract or on date!

Added (1). I was in gym class and I finished my pacer test and I had permission!

This Happened to me before I let it sit for the rest of the day I didn't touch it or try to press boutttons and that worked for me And if you have a case on your phone even if its a relly thin one I would take it off to make sure your phone dosent over heat if that dosent work try plugging it into the charger next time I would suggest closing all apps property it causes the phone to overload you just double tap the home bouton then when the apps an the bottom appear hit the minus bottom
