What does the free iPhone scam do?
I've always been curious, but never been dumb or brave enough to try to see what it actually does to your device
Those Ads you mean?
It redirects you to an app or to a Phishing site, for them to get password and any private information.
Other than that it more like a click bait for extra income
Never heard of it, but likely getting info for spam emails/scams maybe stealing credentials for credit cards, finances etc
- Words with friends invite from supposed Words Official says giving away thousands of free iPhone X's, does anyone know about this scam? Words Official: JA7R says: "To celebrate Words with Friends as the #1 Words app, Apple is allowing us to give away thousands of iPhone X's. Players seeing this message are already qualified. Visit iphoneswithfriends.com now and enter your shipping information."
- This DOES fit the definition of a scam, right? On Neopets I saw this ad at the top of the page that looked like a shaking text box like on windows and it said that if you clicked it you could win an iPhone 4s. I'm gonna report it to both The Neopets Team and AdChoices, but I wanna make sure I'm using the right terminology since I never talk about stuff like this. So is scam the right word? If not, what's the right word? Of course the ad isn't there NOW. It changes all the time. That's the way ads usually work.
- Is this an Iphone scam on ebay? I was looking to by an Iphone 4s. I found one for 300 but it says New, missing original box, box says 32gb but is only 8gb. But the item name is Apple Iphone 4s White at&t 16gb. Is that a scam?
- Is there any (NO SCAM) free iPhone giveaways? Like I want a new phone, and I don't want to get scammed. If you know any safe ones please comment below, thanks in advance.
