What happens if you block someone and they attempt to call or text you?
I have a Verizon 4s iphone. I recently got the ios7 update and it comes with an option to block contacts. What happens if I block my ex and he tries to call me? Text also? Will he be notified that I blocked him? Or what happens?
It will come up as if he called a non working number
I think it just goes to voicemail. And the text sends but you don't receive it.
- When you Block Caller on iPhone, does it completely block them or do they show up as Unknown? I routinely "Block Caller" telemarketers, so does using the iPhone "Block Caller" option block all calls, or will the calls still come through and just show up as "Unknown"? I've received a lot of "Unknown" phone calls lately, so that's what I was attributing it to.

- What happens when you block someone on an iPhone 6, and they text you or call you? Specifically, does the phone keep ringing or does it say the call can't be made? Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)
- What happens if you text and call a disconnected number from an iPhone? I'm trying to figure out if someone's number has been disconnected. When I call it says your call can't be completed as dialed no matter what phone I call from. When I text from my iPhone it appears that the text was sent and I don't get an error invalid message and the text doesn't turn red. Could this just mean that incoming calls are not working for this person?
