What iPhone 4S plan should I get?

My father and mom are currently on a Verizon plan. They agreed to buying me the new iPhone 4S, but with the iPhone 5 coming out soon, hopefully will the price go down? I'm not interested in buying the 5, however.
My father has a smartphone and my mother has a basic phone. I'm not quite sure what plan they are currently on, but we were thinking of adding me on to a family plan. I do currently own an iPod Touch 3Gen, and I don't use a lot on it, I have roughly 30 songs on it, and I might add a movie on it once or twice, but I checked with only my songs on, and I have a few apps, I currently have 6.1 GBs free on it. With that in mind, what would be the best data plan for all of us, myself included? Keep in mind I do want to use Siri and Siri requires internet.

You might as well wait a few weeks for the iPhone 5. Honestly, it is a stupid idea to buy a 4S with the 5 just around the corner.
4S I believe is already discounted by another $50 at this time. I think alot will buy 4S just because its a great phone and will be even cheaper after 5 comes out, but you can save money by doing the $15 data (200meg) and $5 (200 msgs) msg plans (imsg is free for msging other iphone users).

- Which data plan should I get? ATT iPhone? I'm going somewhere for 3 weeks and I need to upgrade my data plan because I'll be using Turn by turn directions ALOT! I currently have 300 MB (lowest) of data each month. The next few upgrades are 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 6 GB, 8 GB, etc. I'll be needing to use the internet more, emails, google, and using maps with Siri. Anyone have any information?
