What is a good audio editing software for Mac to remove background noise?
I want to remove some of the background noise from some recordings I have of my college class's lecture that I recorded on my phone. I was curious if there are any programs for Mac that audiophiles would recommend. It would mostly be removing any sharp noises in the background that are distracting like doors closing or people coughing. Also, if it matters, I was curious if there were iPhone apps for recording that would improve my ability to do this other than the built in voice memos app?
Just drop it into Garageband, you should've gotten it for free with your Mac. A standard lowpass or bandpass filter should work, see this answer:

- What photo editing app on the iphone makes this space background? I've been seeing on instagram pictures with the background looking space like. I was just wondering what app was being used. I asked a few people on instagram and they replied "i don't give out apps" i don't understand why they don't want to but thats what happens.heres an example of what i'm talking about thanks guys!

I'm fairly savvy at editing, (i think lol) I'm just drowning in a pool of apps in the App Store, and I don't know which ones would work well… I'm also looking for an app that will turn video or picture into cartoon (nice cartoon, vivid colors and nice filters, that do not leave the video looking like a "sketchy" or "grungy". Any help is greatly appreciated!

I already use bazaart, picsart, afterphoto and fontcandy for my graphics that I make on tumblr but I was wondering if there was anything out there more advanced? I tried the photoshop app but it's not that great to me. Any suggestions?
