What's better to use in Iphone: Home button or Sleep/Wake button?
I recently discovered the "Assistive touch" feature in the Iphone and it is a good substitute for all the physical functions of the Iphone including the home button, I've been using it instead of the home button for closing apps and other stuffs.
My problem is that I used the Sleep/Wake Button whenever I want to turn the screen of the Iphone ON so I can used the "Assistive touch" button on the screen, does the Sleep/Wake button wear faster than the Home button or is it the other way around? Does using "Assistive touch" instead of the Home button a good move or not?
I just got my iPhone and I was confused on 2 things. What is the difference between the main round button on the front vs the Sleep/Wake button all the way up on the top? When I want to acces my iPhone generally which one should be pressed or is it just common preference?
- Why won't iphone sleep/wake button work? It worked completely fine yesterday and now it won't.haven't dropped it and it hasn't given me a problem before.
- Why doesn't my iphone's sleep/wake button not work? So my iphone's sleep/wake button feels weird.whenever i push it, it feels like i have to push it harder for it to work. Can i fix this by myself or do i have to get it repaired? And if i do have to get it repaired, how much would it be because i don't have warranty on it.
- My iPhone 5s sleep/wake button quit working and it's new? I got this like 4 months and it has quit working completely, since I didn't break it will they give me one for free under insurance or warranty
- Is there an iPhone app to go to the home screen? My Home button isn't working well? IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
