What's the best method when using Mophie Juice Pack™ Plus?

I just bought the Mophie Juice Pack™ Plus for my iPhone 4S and as I was reading the manual, it said the best way was to use the juice pack only when you need to charge your iPhone, but upon research and looking up forums, some people say it's best to use up the iPhone internal battery first then use the juice pack and others say it lasts longer if you use the juice pack battery up first then use the iPhone internal battery. Anyone know exactly what the correct answer is? Which method provides the best battery life or outcome? Or which method is more recommended?

Using up the iPhone battery first would be the way to go. When you overcharge a rechargeable battery, it has negative effects in the long run. Technically, the minute your phone hits 100% you should take it off.

  • Should I get the mophie iphone 4s juice pack air or and otterbox defender case? I can't get the Otterbox iON case because it costs a lot but should I get the mophie case or the otterbox defender. I don't really have use for a otterbox because I never drop my phone. I'm leaning towards the mophie, but i want to know how durable the case is as well as the battery. Thanks in advance!   • New mophie juice pack air problem? Today I got the mophie juices pack air online and I put the case on my new iPhone 5S and it said this case may not be compatible with your device. Then I charged the case and it is draining my phone battery… The case I got it mophie special edition red. @ first I thought It was because it's the 5S then I tried it on someone's iPhone 5 & it said it might not be compatible. So I don't know what the problem is? Am I doing something wrong?
  • Mophie Air vs Plus for iPhone 4S? I just got the Mophie Air case a few days ago for my iPhone 4S. I used it recently, & it only charged it from 10% to 37%. Should I return it, & exchange it for the plus? Do you have the plus or air? How much is the air supposed to charge it back up to compared to the plus?
