What's the best provider for an iPhone 5s 16GB?

I have verizon and I only have 2 GB of data per month but it's been a week and a half. I already used 76% of the data but my dad won't get more:/. After the two year contract, who would be the best provider. AT&T, T-mobile, etc. I've noticed I use kinda a lot. Before I had a android and I was with metro PCS with unlimited text, call and internet… Unlimted everything would be nice just saying. My dad is paying 150$ per month for the both of us

BTW I have sister who has the iPhone too

What carrier you get largely depends on who works best in your area. Sprint, for example, has pretty competitive pricing but they have no service in my area. I would recommend going to the carriers websites and checking their coverage maps for the areas you go, and ask the people around you what they use and how their service is. Unlimited data does you no good if you don't have signal.

If you are a heavy data user T-Mobile is the best option. They are only 1 of 2 carriers who offer unlimited (the other being sprint) and have a much better service than sprint in terms of performance and reliability. Assuming your dad also has an iPhone, and doesn't need a lot of data, you would be looking at about 160 a month for a family plan with 1 line unlimited ($80), a second line with 1gb data ($50, -$20 add a line discount, $30) and $25/month for each phone on EIP (T-Mobile's alternative to a 2 year contract) bringing the bill to around $160 a month before taxes and fees, which add another 10-20% depending on your area. This would be a lot higher than the $150 he's paying now, so if he won't give you additional data because of price he probably won't go for this.

On the other hand, sprint offers 2 lines on contract for $150. Again, add 10-20% tax. Both lines would have unlimited. If he was ok with 1gb then you could get it for $140.

Hey everyone I'm the person who asked the Question… My dad gets free phone with unlimited data, calls and text. He gets like a 15% discount with Verizon

  • Will a 16GB iPhone 5 have 16GB of space? I want to get an iPhone 5 and the 16GB will suffice, however I'm concerned about the actual space. I have a 32GB iPod Touch but according to iTunes the maximum space available is 28.5GB. Could I expect this sort of thing to happen on the iPhone?
