1. Iphone 5C. I would guess this stands for color as it is hardly cheaper than the 5s. It starts at 99 dollars on contract and the 5s starts at 199 so there's a difference but it is not the "iphone for the masses" that people talked about. The 5c is literally a plastic iphone 5. Runs the EXACT same specs and is the same phone besides the fact that the battery is a bit bigger and it will run iOS7. But it really is just a plastic iPhone 5 that comes in different colors.
2. The iphone 5s is the latest upgrade to the iphone family. It runs the newest A7 chip which according to apple will make the phone run 40 times faster (I would be skeptical of this number) and the M7 motion chip. It has a larger battery and comes in gold… For the people that are in to golden smartphones I guess… Yea ok.
3. Difference between 5s and 5c? The 5s will run much faster and take better pictures along with having a finger print scanner. Yep. You read that right. The phone will unlock based on your fingerprint. The 5c does not have this feature and is running year old specs from the 5. Both run iOS 7 and the 5c comes in neony colors that the 5s doesn't. In my opinion, there's no reason anyone would ever buy the 5c. Apple has literally just found a way to get you to pay 99 dollars to buy a phone that they came out with a year ago and put fun colors around it. It is literally a plastic iphone 5. The 5s is only 100 dollars more on contract or unlocked and it will perform far better.
Unlocked 5s price is going to be well into the $700 range. Unlocked 5c will be 100 bucks cheaper.
I phone 5s is much better although its pricey, its more faster. I phone 5c is cool but its like the i phone 5. If i people have enough money for i phone 5s great! But i phone 5c is great to.
