When does bbm come to iphone?

It was rumored it was going to come out tonight for iPhone. But so far it ain't. Do you know what time it comes out?

Prior to launching BBM for Android, an unreleased version of the BBM for Android app was posted online. The interest and enthusiasm we have seen already - more than 1.1 million active users in the first 8 hours without even launching the official Android app - is incredible. Consequently, this unreleased version caused issues, which we have attempted to address throughout the day.

We're pausing the global roll-out of BBM for Android and iPhone. Customers who have already downloaded BBM for iPhone will be able to continue to use BBM. BBM said they would release the Android version on the 21st. It did not come out and people where confused. It turned out that there was a problem, meanwhile the iOS version was supposed to be released today. However in India and New Zealand, it came out on the App Store yesterday.

On Twitter there was more confusion as someone has given a link out to the unreleased Android version today. It went viral with over 1 million downloads.

Now, BBM is now focused on the unreleased app and is trying to disable that app. And for now, the rollout has been paused so it will not be released on iOS or Android, until they disable the unrealesed version.

And for the reigon change, I live in England and I'm also on iOS. I changed my reigion to New Zealand. With that done I searched up "Blackberry Limited" which is the company name that it is being released from. I did this a few hours ago, and it has been removed temporarly, again until the unreleased version is disabled

To summarise, there will be no release of iOS or Android until the unreleased version is fully disabled and un-usable.

The problem apparently was BBM was leaked early for Android & overwhelmed their servers. It managed to reach the New Zealand App Store before it was pulled before its 12:01am release time in the US this morning.

As of now there's no ETA to when it will come back out.

I did manage to get the app before though. It's not very good imo. Better to stick to WhatsApp.

You can get bbm if you jailbreak your phone. Go to www.howtoidevice.con to jailbreak and/or unlock and then download appcake. Then from appcake download bbm ;-)
