When should ios 8 be released?

I have a iPhone 5c and I'm really excited for ios 8 to come out. Does anyone have a release date for it?

I'm not sure how this website (http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/560196/20140724/iphone-6-release-date-sept-26-2014.htm#.U9M0Mdm9LCQ) has got the info but it says Sep.17.

  • Will iOS 7 Beta upgrade to full ios 7 when it's released? I wanna upgrade to ios 7 beta, but when ios 7 is released in the fall, will the beta upgrade straight to the full ios 7, or will I have to restore my phone back to ios 6.1.3 (or 6.1.4 for iphone 5) to upgrade to the full ios 7?
