Why am I obsessed with my electronics?

I got an Iphone 5s, Ipad Air 2, and a Hp windows 8.1 laptop. I'm on it like all day and I don't get out much except to go to the store. But that's it. Any ideas?

Electronics are addictive. For some people putting them down is like trying to quit smoking.

Write down (on paper) things that would be more important than playing on electronic devices. (Getting exercise. Sleeping at night. Eating meals at proper times. Cooking. Fixing something on your house or property. Get a job. Etc.)

Next make a written schedule of when you're going to do those things and how much time you're going to dedicate to them. Then alot a reasonable time for electronics each week. Maybe a few hours just one day per week. Or an hour a day. Then stick to your schedule.

Because they're interesting, everyone claims that there's something negative about them, but we live in a very very complex and interesting era of life. Technology is fascinating. If you like something then pursue it further. Like for instance me and my bud are building a quadropter, we have no prior knowledge of electronics and what not but its super fun learning. I was never the type to care for electronics, was always outside and i judged others for being so addicted, but its fun, i'm learning a lot.

Never let others judged you and make you feel insecure, do what you love and eventually youll get good. I used to try and try to surf and i sucked, i would embarrass myself but i just liked the waves and being in the water. No i can hit up some good waves and gunna start building a wood board! Seriously just get into whatever it is man and youll be happy

It is addictive. Too much of it is considered obsessive. If you know you are spending too much time (by the way, how do manage to have so free time) then it is up to you to balance your life and manage the success and outcome of it.
