Why are some people so ungrateful of everything?

I was wondering why kids these days are so ungrateful of the stuff they have? In my school kids are always bitching that they don't have the latest iPhone or the best computer. I mean they already have expensive electronics and stuff so why are they always wanting stuff? There's this one kid named Matthew and he has like 2 iPod's, a iPhone 5 and an AlienWare laptop(all of which his mom got him) and hes always complaining that he has nothing. What's your view on this?

They are unappreciative.

Hes spoiled. He can't be happy of what He already has. Hes lucky to even have those things.

Bacause the parents give them everything they want. So their kids are happy
I remmber when i wanted somethjng as a child i needed to work around the house and maybe i would get a knockoff of what i really wanted lol
For my fith grade year i wore fifas instead of fila sneakers lol

When parents work or are busy else were, they tend to replace themselves with toys and the older the child, the more expensive. That leads the child to expect more and more. When the child has to work for the item, they tend to appreciate it more because they had to work and save and wait for the item instead of it just being given to them.
I feel sorry for the child who has things just given to them because they do not understand the value of things and take everything for granted. Then grow up to be senators.

You have no idea how much I stress over this. I own a 7 year old phone that can barely run on it's own battery for longer than 30 minutes. And I look to my right to see a snotty spoiled brat whining that his parents won't buy him iPhone5 or a the latest shoe.

Sadly, these are the people who can excel in business because obviously, they have enough money to work their way around. People who has only enough to support their rent and food finds life a lot more difficult for the future.

Seems to me that those with more money tend to be blinded and less sensitive to his/her surroundings. Of course, there are cases where it's different. Nonetheless, I truly find ungrateful kids/adults disgusting and disturbing.

It sucks.

  • Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
  • Why do some iPhones cost $200 and some cost $900? Is there like data forever or something on these jacked up price or are you literally buying a $900 iPhone when you can only use it for Wi-Fi? And why does it cost so much less when you get it with a service plan like AT&T?
  • Why are some American teens so ungrateful? I don't know healthy young American teens seem so overprivileged to me. They worry about things like looking hot (even tho we all get old and ugly), their iphone battery and complain about school (even though they are lucky to be getting an education). Based on my calculations that kids are starving in third world countries and others plagued by horrible diseases, why aren't healthy American kids jumping for joy 24/7 instead if complaining about trivial issues?
  • May I delete everything on my iphone 4s once everything had been transfer to icloud? I have been a iphone user for almost three years and I'm going to trade in my 4s to get the iphone 5. Right now, I'm starting to figure out icloud work and it's a little bit confusing. So I want to know if it's okay if I can delete everything once my contacts, photos, and other stuff had been transfer? Because I do not want to lose my stuff and never get it back!
