Why can't I connect to my Wi-Fi? - 1
I have a iphone 5 and a Kindle fire hd and both of them say they are unable to connect my Wi-Fi the password is correct but it still won't connect and the router is all pluged in and working. NEED Help FAST I CAN't LIVE WITH OUT Wi-Fi.
If both devices won't connect then start at the modem/router. If unplugging just the router like Brant says doesn't work, try unplugging both the modem and the router, plug the modem back in first, then plug the router back in a few seconds later.
If that still doesn't work, make sure that someone didn't accidentally reset the router by pressing the button on the back, which would trash your password. I used to do tech support and it was common to find out the user's guest/child/etc had tried to fix the issue by resetting the router, and the settings had to be set back up again.
With my phones, I had to reset the internet and renew the lease in the settings to get the phone to connect to the internet again. I don't have a kindle on me at the moment but I'm sure you can just reset it and connect it back to your Wi-Fi.
You need to follow these options on the iphone -
1.go to settings
2. Tap on Wi-Fi.
3. Once you will click on Wi-Fi then you will able to see little arrow in the right hand side of your Wi-Fi name.
click on that. Now you will able to see an option by the name of forget this network, click on that.
once you will click on forget this network after that you need to click on your Wi-Fi name and then you need to click on connect.
now it will ask to you for password type there your password now your iphone will be connected.
steps for kindle -
go to settings
click on Wi-Fi
now click on the Wi-Fi
click on forget.
now you need to click on connect once again.
now it will ask to you for password you need to type there your password.
i hope your kindly will be connected.
if it is still not connecting then you need to make sure about password and upgrade the firmware of your Wi-Fi.
Try to unplug the router for 30 seconds then plug it back in, wait another 30 seconds then try again
