Why did my iphone randomly break?

I woke up. Checked my twitter, it was working, no scratches, nothing. I placed it on my bed (it was cushioned and safe). Got dressed, did my makeup, went downstairs for breakfast, came back upstairs, placed my phone on my dresser on top of my homework. I went, brushed my teeth, came back to my room to get my homework, picked my phone up, though "thats weird, why is there white paint on my phone?" i further inspected it and noticed that there's a huge white crack at the top of my iphone 4s. I ran downstairs, cursing, and was at least relieved that it still "worked" (the lock screen would turn on" i then tried to unlock my phone and the touch screen wouldnt work (my phone is now basically a brick with a watch attached to it).IM So CONFUSED AND SAD BECAUSE NOW MY PARENTS ARE MAKING ME GET AN LG RUMOUR IF I CAN't GET IT REPAIRED.
also, i'm with rogers, i live in canada and i got my iphone late april of this year (2012) would it be under warranty? Are iphone screens fixable? Any guesses to how much it would cost? Anyone have any random explanations for why my phone broke? (my family and my dog 100% did not go near my phone or break it, it was in the same spot i left it, only broken… ) thank you!

If you still have a warranty, then call apple, they might be able to fix it

  • Why did the space on my iphone randomly free up? So not long ago, i had like 6.3 gb used up (i have an 8 gb, and it sucks balls, cuz i can't have *** on my phone) and now, randomly, without deleting anything, it went down to 5.7? I did nothing to it, it just randomly did this. Is theree any reason this could have happened? I just wanna know cuz i'm afraid my phone might be deleting things by itself but i didn't notice anything gone… So has this happened to anyone else?

My iphone was working fine and i was charging it but then it turns off and the apple logo turns into a skull and it turned back on but when i put it to charge it just shut off and will not turn back on no matter how hard i try to turn it on and its iphone 3gs I was texting and listening to music does that count as overworking it?
  • My phone just randomly did this (iPhone 4s)? Ok while I put my phone down and 2 minutes later I picked it up and it had a notification saying "sim failed" and now in the top conner it says "SOS only". It is not a new SIM card. It is a pre paid sim.
  • IOS10.3.1, did it break my iPhone 6S Touch ID (Fingerprint)? Ever since the latest firmware update, my touch id is no longer working. Whenever I try turning on "iPhone Unlock" or even "iTunes and App Store" under Touch ID and Passcode, it would show me the message "Unable to Complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again. " Already tried hard reset, restore settings and even erasing all my files and setting into a new iPhone, but Touch ID still isn't working. Anyone else have this problem?
