Why do iPhone messages come up as picture messages on other phones?
When my friend sends me texts, she has an iphone, they come up as picture messages and i can't revieve them on my phone because my plan doesn't cover picture messages. Can she change the settings so it won't come up as a picture?
I've noticed that happens when the sender sends to more than one recipient. Texts sent only to you should work fine.
It sounds like a problem on your phone, not the sender. Just a guess.
- Why isn't my iPhone letting me text other phones (non iPhones)? When my phone isn't paid I noticed I could still text like usual but only if IIm connected to the Wi-Fi, for some reason now all it says it message not deliverd when I text someone without an iPhone but when I text someone with one it sends automatically.
- Why is the iphone so much better than other smart phones? I'm not trying to start a fight here. It just seems like Apple has access to alien technology or something. I've been trying to help my dad with his Samsung stratosphere and the difference is staggering. Another thing worth noting is that any of my friends who have non iphone smart phones also carry their ipod touches around with them. That says something.

I've never had an iPhone and was thinking about getting one but i compared specs to other phones like s4/One and iphone is behind all these top of the line mobile devices. Why do people keep buying these phones? What makes them so special?
- Why do people go crazy over the iPhone and other expensive cell phones? Some of those phones cost more than rent. I've never understood why someone would pay over $100 for a phone.
