Why do people pay so much more for iPhones on eBay?
I was looking to buy a 32g iPhone 5 on eBay, and saw that some (that ended today) sold for about $900 (locked on AT&T)! You can buy this same phone without contract for only $650 on Apple's website. What is the meaning of this?
Added (1). @Mark read more carefully… You can buy them on Apple's website… This has nothing to do with supply and demand.

People always seem to pay more on ebay for popular items its mad when you can shop around elsewhere a lot cheaper
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why do so much people have iphones? I see iphones everywhere i go, everywhere i go. I saw at least 5 of them today. There are so many smartphones out there that are way better and are basically the same thing, so why iphone? And NO i'm not jealous of them cuz i have a smartphone myself. It looks like an iphone but its better quality and has more features, cheaper, etc.
- Why do people still pay so much for damanged iPhones? It's funny how pathetic some people are. I sold my cracked, dented and slightly bent iPhone 6 Plus (16GB) online for roughly $600. And because of my insurance and discounts, I was able to pick up a brand new one and had extra cash on the side, which I'll put toward the next iPhone.
- Why do people like Iphones so much? They are way inferior to Androids but people still buy them for example the Galaxy S4 or any android does all the Iphone does and much more!
