Why does everyone have iPhones these days?

It seems that everywhere I look, every girl my age (14) or older, plus kids 7-12 years old, elderly, adults, everyone has it.

It don't get it, really. It's just a phone, and there are phones out there like Androids that are much better in many aspects.

Sometimes, I want to cave in and get an iPhone because I actually like the IOS 7 display and the design seems to be attractive. And not only that, but seeing all my friends have it makes me feel a little left out.

I do have an iPod Touch 4G, but I don't necessarily use it very much.

So, anyways, why does everyone have them?

Well, I could name some reasons.

1. It looks good, the layout looks relaxing, and the simple design of the phone looks classy to fit all different people with different moods.

2. The apps. There are many apps that are only made for the iphone.

3. For the camera. Many young people like to take selfies with the HD design front camera. And the camera is high quality in general.

4. Because many people have it. When you see people with something that you don't have, you sometimes feel left out, usually because people are always talking about the new Iphone that's coming out.

5. Many shops sell nice looking Iphone cases. Yes, I have to say, Iphone cases are very nice and most phone shops sell them. They look neat and is very personalized.

This high-tech generation likes to keep up-to-date with all the latest items that their peers all have too. So yeah if you want an Iphone, why not. Just make sure you can afford it.

Best hardware and best design. The A7 dual core chip outperforms any quad core chip designs out there today, and its really not even close. Its like a desktop in a mobile phone, thats why games perform so much better on iphones.

I use my Samsung flip phone strictly for work and turn it off when I'm off duty. A smart phone would be useless to me because there's no cell phone service in my village. Can't even receive text here.

Many people can't exist without their security blanket (phone)!

Iphones are more popular and people want to buy Iphones more than they want to buy androids. And this is coming from a guy who has an Android phone in his pocket, and is content with it.

They are not aware of the 17 trillion debt

I'm 64 years old and i for one do not have such a phone nor do i need one
i still has the same type of phone i have always had since the year 2000
my phonme only cost $39 and i do not need a $200 or $300 phone bvecaue i do not talk that much nor do i have the need for all of those apps.

Because they have to follow what others do and want to experience that oh so awesome phone. Don't feel left out and don't worry about what they have sorry based on the bible if you have read what it says it says not worry about what others have or don't covet things others have. Why are you stressing over a petty little thing as a cell phone. I have a android and a cheapo one too but I don't care what others got who cares. Technology is always advancing and upgrading. I think its a way to profit, marketing strategy.

I've had an iPhone for years and it's never caused me problems, screen has never broke, no software problems, and the only hardware problem I had was hassle free- Apple gave me a brand new phone for no charge. Androids might be good, and I know everyone loves to hate Apple, but I like iPhones… They've never given me a reason to dislike them. Whereas my friend who has Android has been through 4 or 5 phones in the last two years due to the screen shattering when she drops it. My phone has been dropped many times and never broke.

Where I live people like android more than iPhones and say they suck. Though a phone is a phone it doesn't matter what phone they have.

As for me. It is because it is the best. And it comes down to the basis of the product. And after I saw this I bought the iPhone 5S.

"Why does everyone have iPhones these days?" Wow gee then I have to check my pockets cause I was unaware that the phone in my pocket was an iPhone. I never had an iPhone ever but since you say everyone has an iPhone these days then perhaps I need to check my glasses if I can't tell or see that the phone in my pocket was an iPhone.
