Why is my iMessage not working? - 2
I just got an iPhone 5c for Christmas, but for some reason the iMessage isn't working. When I first set it up it was using iMessage instead of text messagE, but it wasn't sending anything. Now it doesn't use iMessage at all, and is only sending text messages. I checked and the 'send as SMS' option (where it automatically sends as a text message if iMessage is not available) is off, and iMessage is on. I want to use iMessage because I have the Wi-Fi all figured out so it will work now, but I can't figure out how to use iMessage instead of text message.
Added (1). Now when I tried to turn iMessage off then back on again it's stuck on "waiting for activation" for a while, and when it finally turns on it still doesn't work.
Thats all you have to do, the receiver has to have imessage turned on also though, both sides need it on. You will know before you even send it because the when you are ready to type in the box, you will see it says imessage instead of text message if it recognizes the receiver.

Then one day i accidentally turned it off and i tried turning it back on and it always says activation unsuccessful. I even tried reseting my network settings. I have iphone 4s and it does have ios 7. Any suggestions?
