Why is my imessage not working on my iphone 5s?
Just upgraded from the 3GS to the 5S and yesterday I noticed my imessage wasn't working. I know for a fact who in my contacts has it so it should come up blue, but it's not. Never had this issue on my old phone. It would recognized it almost immediately. This is what I did. When I got the new phone I DID NOT set up as a new device. I did the "restore from last phone" option. When I go into settings>messages it is turned on. The SMS option is turned off. When I go into send and receive only my number is show with a check mark next too it. So it should be working, no?
Turn it off and back on again. Also you have the latest patch on the OS correct? They released a patch after the initial release of iOS 7
