Added (1). Okay. I'm sorry for caps lock, didn't mean to.
But I got my 5S last July, which is not so long ago. But then, out of the blue, my phone starts getting hot. Then, the battery also starts draining so fast, it could go like 10% every 10 minutes. This never happened but just started 3-4 days ago. (Today is Sept. 1)
I'm not using location services, mobile data a.k.a. 3G, bluetooth, iCloud, etc.
I just need to know why this is happening and how it can't happen again.
Likely there was recently an app installed that is programmed to do consume alot of battery power.
The 4S was notorious for a battery overheating problem. The cure for this is found all over YouTube - the one where you shut off all running apps, overheat your phone with a hairdryer until the emergency thermometer lights up - shut off your phone, wrap in plastic, put in freezer for 10 minutes; take it out of plastic and let come to room temperature - turn it back on and PRAY. This kept my 4s running until I got my 6.
