Why is my iphone losing battery so fast?
I recently opened my iphone up to replace the screen that had a crack in it. I sucessfully replaced the screen, but now my home button and speakers don't work. What I've also notied is that my battery drains incredibly fast. I had my phone on for a half hour and it lost 30% battery and was extremely hot. I already had disabled background apps and a bunch of other stuff to optimize battery before I had even opened my phone up. (The heat was coming mostly from the motherboard, not the battery, if that helps). I have no idea what could be going wrong.
Well it depends on what iPhone you have. And how long you had it! It matters on how long you had it. If you had it for over 2 or 3 years you should probably update it. Old battery's do that. If it's kind of new. Then I would go to a special phone store or place to fix it and ask them what's going on. Go into an apple store or a technology store and they will figure it out! Go to Settings > Privacy > Location services.
Here you'll find a whole load of apps that are using GPS to update your location. It's useful for something like Find my iPhone, but the chances are there are a whole load of other apps that don't need it and are draining your battery.
And when it's running out really fast the iphone produces heat to try slow the battery percentage down that's why it's hot
