Why is the YouTube on my iphone so slow?

I have an iphone 4s and the youtube app is so fricken slow! It takes at least 10 or 15 minutes to load a video of about 5 minutes and anything longer than that I just give up. I thought this phone was suppose to be great being it has 4g but honestly my iphone 3 went quicker than this crap. Why is this happening!

Its just a sign that you should upgrade to an android phone.

Loading a video depends on the connection and although 4G is around 100-200 kbs so it should be quick enough you could've went over your data cap and it slowed down. I prefer you use Wi-Fi for youtube. Also it doesn't matter what kind of phone you had, loading times are based on connection.

  • Why is youtube so slow on iphone 5? So i'm using the youtube app over my Wi-Fi on my iphone 5. I get 10 megabites download consistantly, i just checked with speedtest.net. If i'm trying to watch a 2 minute youtube video, it would take around 4-5 minutes of buffering to watch it! Any fixes or any ideas why this is happening?
