Why isn't my Instagram working?

I have the iPhone 4S and whenever I try to take a picture in Instagram it exists out to the home screen. I tried deleted the app and then reinstalling it but it still doesn't work. How can I fix it?

You might have too many programs running in the background. Double tap the home button and delete the little icons at the bottom. If your problem still persists than visit the apple store.
