Why will my iphone touchscreen work only sometimes?
I've tried resetting it that didn't help.shut it off and turned it back on that didn't help either. I can slide it to unlock it but then i can't select any icons or do anything.sometimes it will work fine for a few minutes then it won't do anything. Is there anything else i can do without taking it to a repair shop or getting a new phone?

It's probably defective. But, if you have not been treating it well (spilling liquids on it or dropping it constantly,) that might be the case. If you have a screen protecter, sometimes you need to press harder. You can take it to the shop where you got it and for a fee they would be happy to help.
It might be defective… Go to n apple store and get a replacement if you have insurance on it.

- My iphone touchscreen doesn't work so how do I transfer contacts? I iphone 4s screen cracked so now I can no longer unlock it but I really need some of my contacts. I tried connecting it to itunes them transferring them to my computer but when I did that the contacts I were looking for weren't there only some of them transfered. What do I do? If I take it to the verizon store could they get All my contacts? Should I just fix the screen then get them?
