Why won't my iPhone App Store recognize that I've changed my Apple ID?
Long story short, I didn't have an Apple ID and my boyfriend and I were both using his. We broke up a while ago and I decided to get my own, since his account information had changed and it wouldn't let me do anything anyways.
So, I make my own apple ID. I go to settings > iTunes & App Store on my phone and sign into my new one on there.
I also changed it on iCloud.
But every time I try to update my apps it still asks for the security code and stuff in his account.
It says "Sign in required" when I try to update so I go to sign in and it takes me to his account settings in the billing information.
I already put in my credit card information onto my iTunes account, so it should already have that? I don't want to put it in when that comes up because I don't want it to save to his iTunes account.
I just want to update my apps and download new ones.
Anyone know how to fix this!
Oh Horrible.
Found somebody else had the problem and fixed it by signing out and signing back in again to itunes. This has fixed this problem but I've appeared to have lost all my apps and music on my phone.
How do I get them back? Hope someone can help!
OK, after a little digging around on the Internet, I've found a solution, just in case it happens to anyone else. (Hope Not)! Anyway, I listed below when the person said and it worked for me.
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer and open up iTunes.
2. Under the DEVICES heading, click iPhone > Music.
3. Double-click one of the available songs (maybe a soothing one) to play it.
4. Synchronize your iPhone using iTunes. That's it.
When you open the iPod app on your phone the next time, all your songs should be there.

- Why hasn't my iCloud apple ID changed? When I first set up my iTunes I was using a certain email address which was also set up for iCloud. About a year ago I changed email addresses and updated my iTunes ID to the new email, but I did the iPhone update yesterday and it asked me to put my password in for iCloud and I noticed the apple ID for iCloud still says my old address. It was asking me to put my password in and it wouldn't accept it. Anyone know how I can update it to the new address? I can't log into iCloud at all.
- Why can't my laptop recognize any apple device. Any solutions? I tried connecting my ipod nano and my iphone 4 to my laptop but "device was not successfully installed" keeps on popping out. I tried installing ITunes but "I tunes was not properly installed. If you wish to burn cd, please reinstall" keeps on popping up. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling but it still says that I tunes is not properly installed. so far I got 2 problems at the moment. Thanks in advance. btw. My laptop is windows 7 professional.
- Why can't I download apple garage band from the Apple App Store? I'm using my iPhone 8+, and I see that little cloud icon on the screen. But when I press it, nothing happens. I have tried over and over again to download it, but I can't get it to download
