Wi-Fi CONNECTION PROBLEMS IPHONE 4?
I bought this iphone 4 a few days ago the Wi-Fi does not work, by that i mean won't slide across what so ever tried airplane mode and resetting the phone constantly to no avail, also tried resetting the setting the phone was already set to factory reset when i got it, the Wi-Fi did not work before i bought it tho so i knew what i was getting i just thought i could try and get it to work. I go told i might need a new circit board or something like that but apparently its very expensive.
any useful info would be great… I never owned an iphone in my life so i'm new to it thanks.
Wi-Fi in iPhones can be problematic and may even depend which iOS your have. When a co-worker got a new 4S it would not work on our office Wi-Fi until he could find Wi-Fi he could connect to, to update his iOS (which it refused to do using mobile data). Sometime later he found out that he could no longer even turn Wi-Fi ON (it just remained OFF). The Apple forum is loaded with Wi-Fi issues including hardware failures. He had to get a warranty replacement phone.
We had a similar problem with several new iPads our company bought, which would not work with our office Wi-Fi until their iOS was updated elsewhere.
- Wi-Fi connection problems on iPhone 3GS? So I'm just after getting an iPhone 3GS off a friend. When I connected the phone to my house Wi-Fi there was a strong connection all around the house and outside. Today I dropped my phone and since then I can only get a Wi-Fi signal when I'm in the same room as the Wi-Fi box, as soon as I leave the room I lose the Wi-Fi signal. Any help on how to fix this would be much appreciated!

- Is talk talk having problems with its Internet connection? I'm with talk talk and my Internet has been off since this morning. I've unplugged the router and plugged it back in, but that made no difference. I'm using my iPhone which uses 3G
- IPhone Wi-Fi Connection Problems? - 2 While I'm on campus at my university, the 3G is basically non-existent. I connect to my school's wireless and it always connects fine and works great but as soon as my phone goes to lock screen it disconnects. Every single time. Why does it do this and is there anything I can do for it to just hold the connection? This doesn't happen on my own Wi-Fi at home when my phone is connected.
