Wi-Fi greyed out on iphone 4s
Since June my 4s has been disconnected from Wi-Fi but about two weeks ago it randomly cut back on. Then on Friday it cut off again I've tried all the methods like the freezer method and what not but that works for five minutes at the most. How can I get it too work without going to the apple store?
A co-worked had that happen to his 4S. He could no longer turn Wi-Fi from OFF to ON (it just remained OFF). We tried everything I could find in Apple forums, including resetting networking and backing everything up, totally resetting the phone, and restoring it, and nothing worked. So he got a warranty replacement 4S.
It is a common hardware problem, so if yours is under warranty, get a replacement. Otherwise you are on your own.
- Why are my songs greyed out on my iPhone 4s? I have an iPhone 4s and I had it plugged into my computer I have songs I don't listen to so I deleted them all. I went on my phone and All THE SONGS were on my phone but greyed out! I tried to delete them but it didn't work! I don't know what to do and i'm not really liking iTunes anymore!

Now it won't connect to any Wi-Fi and just says "No Wi-Fi" and also won't let me click on it at all. I've tried resetting my network settings, resetting all of my settings, and even resetting with the home button and hold button.

My Iphone 4s Wi-Fi is greyed out and it has been since i updated to ios 6.1.3, i've tried every remedy, does anyone think this new update will fix this problem? I won't get a new one from the genius bar because my friend had the same problem and she got a new iphone, updated it and the problem happened again. If It doesn't i'm just going to get a new phone because iphones are aggravating.
- IPhone 4S Wi-Fi greyed out So about a week ago I dropped my iPhone in water and it wouldn't work then I put it in rice over night and it was fine. The only thing is where you turn the Wi-Fi on its greyed out. I can't connect it to iTunes to update it as I don't have a computer what are some other ways I can fix this problem with my Wi-Fi as I don't really wanna pay $200 for an ensurance claim to get a new one.
