Wi-Fi not working on Toshiba laptop?
My Wi-Fi (router by Netgear) is not working on my laptop (Toshiba). I got my laptop about a year ago & it doesn't have a switch. But the Wi-Fi is working on my Kindle Fire & my iPhone. This has happened many times this year. I've tried restarting the router & laptop many times.
There's nothing in the router that could be at fault.
The fault is in the laptop. All laptops have a software switch.
All laptops shut off the internet when the battery is low.
All laptops have to be connected to a particular wireless network by clicking on the wireless icon on the taskbar and selecting your choice and clicking on connect.
Plug in the adapter and go to Network and Sharing Center in control panel.
Check the status of your home connection and if you do not see it- create a new connection. You can check out your wireless adapter while there.
