Will a t-mobile iphone work on a verizon plan?
My friend is giving me her iPhone 4s but she has T-Mobile and I have verizon. Would I still be able to use this iPhone with my Verizon plan?
Unfortunately, the answer is no, at least not readily.
Verizon currently forbids customers from bringing over devices from other carriers, even if they are technically compatible with Verizon. This is a means to force customers to buy phones exclusively from them.
There are ways around that block, but they are against the current federal DMCA laws.
No Tmobile uses GSM network and Verizon uses CDMA network, they are not compatible.
- Will an Iphone 5s work with walmart family mobile plan? Walmart family mobile is powered by tmobile. And the iphone 5s ships with a tmobile sim. Do i just have to change the sim to a walmart family mobile sim?
- Will a Verizon iPhone 4s work with my AT&T plan? My less-than-a-month old iPhone 4s took a swim and is unusable. A friend is upgrading to the iPhone 5 on the Verizon network. She has offered to give me her phone. Will it work with AT&T's network? I'm stuck for AT LEAST another year before I have the option to upgrade (or leave AT&T). I thought I read that the 4s is the first "world phone" and has CDMA and GSM capabilities. Is that correct?
- T Mobile or Verizon. Should I pay T-Mobile 175.00 for an upgrade or 94.00 to Verizon for new phone? I want the iPhone 6s plus. I'm already with t mobile but there internet is a bit slow sometimes. Its the jump plan ill get. Ill pay 12.00 for 24 mo. And if i get a new phone they won't run my credit again. But with verizon they'll run my credit. Is pretty good. But i don't want anybody to really run my credit tho lower it. I'm not sure about verizon internet but the commercials looks pretty good. They bboth have unlimited internet. What should I do?
- Is the Verizon edge plan a good plan for me? I have the iPhone 4 and really want to upgrade to the 5c or 5s --not sure yet. Anyway, I also would want to upgrade to the 6 when it comes out. Should I get the edge plan so I'll be able to upgrade it or should I wait all the way until the 6 comes out?
