Will Apple Give Me A Free iPhone?
Today I dropped my iphone into my swimming pool and it got completely soaked tot he Point where it won't turn on and its sitting in a tub of rice right now and drying. If i doesn't turn on will Apple replace it for free cause i can't even begin to have 450 for a new one. If i just tell hem the truth about what happened and won't make anything will they replace it? I NEED ANSWERS As soon as possible!
No. That's damage on your part. You won't get a free one at all. No chance, really. Actually, there may be a small small small chance because my stepdad dropped his off the roof and a really cool employee just slipped him a new one and marked his as defective.
If you have Apple Care ($99 every 2 years), then yes, they will give you a new one but I think there's a deductible that the phone company demands, which is $50.
Do you have insurance for the phone? If then they might give you a new one. Or you can report the phone lost / stolen.
