Will Apple replace my broken iPhone 5 with another iPhone 5 or an iPhone 5S?
The power button is no longer working on my iPhone 5, and there's 1 year warranty on it. If I were to being it to Apple, would they give me a new iPhone 5, or a 5S? I was just wondering because the iPhone 5 is no longer made or sold by Apple.
They'll give you either the same thing you had, or the closest equivalent thing.
That means you'll get a 5 if any are left, and if not, you'll get a 5C - not a 5S.
(Because the 5 and 5C are basically the same except for the plastic outside, whereas the 5S has newer and higher performance parts compared to both the 5 and 5C).
It depends on how long you had your iPhone 5. Apple provides a 1-year warranty and 90 days of telephone technical support. I don't think they would replace it with a 5S because it's newer, but an iPhone 5, probably.

But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.

I have another verizon phone and i want to put that number on the iphone. Is there a way i can put the number on that phone even when there's a different number already on there.
