Will I lose my songs when I sync my iphone?

I normally buy songs and stuff on my iphone not on itunes on my laptop.
i want to sync my phone to my new laptop.
when i go to download the things I've bought on my phone onto my laptop it says i have nothing to download in previous purchases.
if i sync my phone will everything i bought on my phone be wiped as itunes does not seem to know i have bought it?
i have authorised my itunes account with my laptop but it still doesn't see my past purchases.

If you don't migrate your library to your new laptop beforehand, then yes, it will.
Just move your library to your new laptop, and just ignre iTunes when it says it'll delete all the song on your iPhone prior to syncing, as all the data would be on the new laptop already.

  • What will I lose when I sync my iphone with a new computer? I need to make sure that I don't lose my notes, contacts, voice memos, music, message data, app data, etc., but I've heard nasty things about first time syncing. Is there a program out there to copy stuff over, or do I just need to know how to use the settings correctly?
