Will iPhone 5c work with iPhone 5 sim?

So my friend is gonna trade me the iPhone 5 for the 5c and I have them the 5 (both of these phones are on sprint) and they put there sprint iPhone 5c SIM card in the 5 and it shows that it has signal but says needs to be activates and won't work.

Yes, they use the same size SIM card. The reason you're running into the problem is the SIM is set to the IMEI of the other phone. You would have to have the carrier fix that problem.

  • Will a blackberry sim card work in an iPhone 4 if we cut the sim? My friend has a blackberry and wants to buy an iPhone 4 off someone he knows. I would have thought i cut it too small though that same sim card works in my Samsung Galaxy s2 Perfectly? What's the problem and why isn't it working with my iPhone?
