Will my chinese A1429 iPhone 5 work in Europe?
I bought an A1429 iPhone 5 in China and I'm wondering if it will work in Europe (Czech Republic) on edge and 3g network.
I don't know
If it is locked, it will not work in Europe, because you can't use the sim of the country (Czech Republic).
If it is unlocked, it will work in Eurooe and you can use the sim of the country and the 3g network.
Does it work in USA?
If the answer is yes, your phone is unlocked.
If the answer is no, your phone is locked and it doesn't work in Europe and in the other country.
- Would the iPhone 5 work in Europe? My friend from Europe told me that the 32GB iPhone 5 is around 1300 $. I compared the price of the iPhone in the USA and it's around 850$ so my question is… If he was to buy the iPhone 5 here would it still work in Europe? Meaning, the charger and the outlets (different volts? I don't know about the layout of the outlets/plug required) Unlocking it? Being able to use it? Thanks so much! ---Or would he have to buy the iPhone 5 plan here for it to work and etc.
