Will my SIM card fit into an iPhone 5?

I'm getting an iPhone 5 tomorrow from T-Mobile after having the same phone for two years. My phone now, a Motorola Cliq 2, is on its last leg and hasn't been working well at all (randomly turning off, freezing while I'm texting, taking me to different applications when I haven't clicked them, etc) and I've been wanting a new iPhone for awhile and I'm finally going to get one for myself as a graduation present.
My question is, will my SIM card fit into the iPhone? I'm concerned about this because I don't want to lose all my contacts and have to ask people for their numbers and all that, so would my SIM card be able to fit into an iPhone?

You'd have to cut it to nanoSIM size.

  • Will an Iphone sim card fit into a nokia? So basically, my iphone broke and now I have to use my dads old nokia. My iphone was an iphone 3 (I think), and my dad's nokia is an older model from a couple of years ago. I don't want to change my number so will the sim card from my iphone fit into the nokia? If it doesn't is there anyway I can get a new sim card but keep my number?

  • I want to cut my sim card into a micro card for iPhone 4? I'm currently on a £15 month contract on vodafone where I get unlimited texts, 300 minutes and 500MB of internet. Because my current phone isn't working I'm going to buy an unlocked iPhone 4, I don't want to pay £30+ a month so is it possible to cut my sim card into a micro sim? Will this work? And will I be able to still pay £15 a month?
  • Cutting a SIM card into a micro SIM? Hi, my dad has an iPhone 3GS (late I know) and he just got a 4S because someone gave it to him. Only problem is the 3 takes a normal SIM card and the new phone has a micro sim. If we take it to mobile will they cut it or replace it for us? Also how much $$? I'm a little scared to cut it myself
