Will restoring a jailbroken iphone mess it up?
My iphone was already jailbroken when i got it-i upgraded it and it got stuck in dfu mode--i got it fixed--i have a 3gs by the way and the firmware is 4.1---im afraid i might mess it up again and i was wondering if restoring it through itunes will mess it up cus cydia is in it and i don't know how to take it out…
Restoring will put it back to the way it was before you jailbroke it. But you'll have to sync all your data back again.
- Will hooking up my iPhone up to another computer mess with my music? I have the iPhone 5 and I hooked up my phone to my sisters computer because I didn't have a computer to hook it up to but now that I have a computer and I downloaded iTunes on to it will it delete my music?

I have recently bought a Blackberry however my old phone (iPhone 3GS) had been jailbroken so it was stuck on ios 3.1.2 and now I need to upgrade the software. I opened up itunes and tried to upgrade but it failed so I clicked restore and that failed as well. Now I have no access to my phone and the screen is a usb telling me to connect to itunes. I really need some advice. Is it possible to get my phone working again!
- Jailbroken iphone restoring it to 5.1 tiny umbrella? Hi if anyone could help me with this i would be very grateful. I had a jailbroken phone but i stupidly tried to update it to iOS6 using iTunes. I can now not activate it because it isn't the original sim carrier. I have downloaded tinyumbrella and i pretty much know what to do, change the setting to set hosts to cydia on exit but tinyumbrella won't let me check it because it's greyed out. How do i check it? A quick reply would be very much appreciated!
