Will restoring my iPhone from a backup mess up my apps/games?
I need to back up my phone (long story short, I forgot my restrictions password and apparently the only way I can bypass it is by using iBackupBot [if anyone can tell me an easier way, please do])… But, I'm worried.
I once backed up my original iPad and synced the data with my iPad 2.It went mostly fine, but I noticed that most (if not all) of my games had reset on the iPad 2. I'm one of those people who spends probably way too much time on their games and I've put a lot of time and effort into them (like Dragon Story, for example).So much, in fact, that after they were reset on the iPad, I simply just quit playing them.
So, if I restore my iPhone, are all my apps and games going to reset?
Yeah some of them unless you download to your computer or icloud and I think the icloud will mostly work

My iphone was already jailbroken when i got it-i upgraded it and it got stuck in dfu mode--i got it fixed--i have a 3gs by the way and the firmware is 4.1---im afraid i might mess it up again and i was wondering if restoring it through itunes will mess it up cus cydia is in it and i don't know how to take it out…

- Why does restoring my iphone from a backup use up so many gigabytes? I have an iphone 5 and I'm trying to restore my phone from last backup. Unfortunately, the back up is cancelled about 30 minutes in because my hard disk runs out of space. I have 10 gigs left so there should be any problem with that. I went to mobilesync folder and then to the backup folder and there's one folder there. Once you click on that folder there are thousands of files in that folder that have several modified dates on them. Basically can I just delete the old dated files?
