Will setting up iPhone as New iPhone on iTunes wipe the iPhone?

My brother wants to get all the songs on my iTunes onto his iPhone, as he doesn't have any on his laptop. When I plugged the iPhone in, it came up with a screen saying "Welcome to your new iPhone".It then had the options of "Set up as new iPhone" or "Restore from Backup". What should I do? I don't think I want to "Restore from backup", But if I set it up as a new iPhone, would it wipe all the stuff he has on it? I don't want to accidently wipe it, cos he would kill me!

If you select set up as new iphone it will wipe it all. You could do that, then just sync it to your music

Copy the songs that are on your PC to a falsh drive. Load the songs onto his laptop then have him sync his laptop with the iTunes on his laptop.
