Will the iphone five work if the sim card is not inside it? (sprint)?
I have the iPhone 4s from sprint and the phone works as a phone even if the sim card is not actually placed inside the phone. I was wondering if this would also be the case if I got the iphone five from sprint. In other words, will the sprint iPhone 5 work without the sim card actually installed inside the phone like my 4s works?
I don't think so. Here's why…
The iPhone 4S for Sprint and Verizon has both CDMA and GSM capabilities. The main Sprint (and Verizon) network is CDMA, but a SIM slot was included to let the phone work as a GSM phone outside the USA.
However, the iPhone 5 is an LTE/3G phone, and that type of phone always requires a SIM, even for Verizon and Sprint.
- Would a T-mobile sim card work in a Sprint iPhone 4s? I was going to buy my friends sprint iphone 4s and was wondering if I'd have to buy a new sim card? If I could use my t-mobile one though, that'd be great.
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?
- Will a t mobile sim card work in a sprint unlocked iphone 4? I wanted to buy this iPhone 4 that was sprint unlocked and I have a t mobile sim card, so will I be able to use my t-mobile sim card in the iPhone?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
