Your phone number is now being used for iMessage on a new iPhone?
The texts i send from my macbook are going to my mom's phone. I checked the send&receive thing on her phone but it only has her number on it. Anyone know how to stop this?
Maybe both devices have the same apple id which can cause issues.
- With my new iPhone 7 plus if I set it up as a new phone instead of moving my iCloud data to the new phone would I lose my? Unlimited data plan and phone number or would that still be there I already put my SIM card in 10 points
- Will Find My iPhone from iCloud notify the phone it's being used? Will Find My iPhone from iCloud notify the phone it's being used to track the phone? Will there be some type of popup or message on the phone. If someone could check it out for me I would be most grateful.iOS 7
- Why is my iPhone number being displayed wrongly on my number? My number is X, but on "my number" settings, it's being displayed number Y. Why is that? Also, some people told me that when I call or text them, the number Y is appearing to them, not the number X as it should. On the other hand, if I call the number X, my iPhone rings normally, but the same thing doesn't happen when I call number Y.
- My phone number being used on a new iphone? I just got a message saying "Your phone number is now being used for iMessage and FaceTime on a new iPhone. If you recently signed into 'The Wizard' you can ignore this notification." I'm the only person on this apple ID account and I don't know what The Wizard is. Does anyone know what this means or how it happened?
