2010 Volkswagen Jetta Aux input?

I'm unable to connect my Ipod to the car. In the center console there's a jack for the fourth generation iphone. But when it's plugged in, it doesn't connect. There's no button on the radio that says aux or anything like that. The only options are FM, AM, and CD and MIX CD. Sometimes when i'm on the CD option is says NO MAGAZINE which for a while I was assuming meant no other device connected but I seriously don't know what to do. It has bluetooth and It allows me to make calls through the car but I'm not sure how to play music through bluetooth either.I've read the manual many times but It doesn't say anything helpful. I'm really frustrated. Could someone please help me?

I have the same car there should be a spot on the console outside of it with a aux input but I have my phone synced with blue tooth than go to the settings in your phone find you car than options and it'll say use for phone call and another one use for media check both boxes than play music on your phone and than click the media button that's what I do hope it works

  • Why does my 2010 car not have an aux port? I have a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado truck. It doesn't have an auxiliary port to plug my iPhone into, and it frustrates me because I hate having to make CDs.
  • Where is the AUX jack Or USB in my Mercedes CLC 200 2010? I have a Mercedes CLC 200 2010 and I'm looking to connect my iPhone through the AUX jack. I can't find the input to put my AUX lead into, where is it?
  • What model year did the Ford Explorer add an aux input jack? I'm shopping for a used SUV, and I was just wondering what is the oldest model year for the Ford Explorer SUV that includes an auxiliary input jack, so I can listen to music from an iPod/iPhone. I know there are things such as cassette player adapters, but I'm talking about an actual 3.5mm input.
  • My nissan 2008 does not have an aux input? So I recently received my dad's 2008 Nissan versa. I looked everywhere in the car and can't find the aux input or any kind of plug in spot where I could plug my iphone in for music. Maybe there's some spot that I missed? If anyone knows? It does have a lighter socket type thing so wondering if that could somehow work?
