A better OS for video editing and light gaming?

I'm considering to get a laptop and I'm not quite sure which one I should get, I'm deciding between a MacBook or a Windows laptop. I'm going to be getting it to surf the web, occasionally play some video games but mainly video editing with Sony vegas pro and using iTunes. I do have an iPhone and I've proudly been an android user right up until a year ago. I enjoy my iPhone but understand the certain restrictions, is it true MacBooks don't incorporate USB ports?

MacBook is a Windows. All you do is install Windows, et voila!

All Mac computers since 1998 have USB ports. The newest MacBook 13-inch has two, 15-inch has 4 USB ports. The trouble is your old external drive has a cable that is too fat on the end (USB-A type). Get a new cable, and Bob's your uncle!

"Why did Apple change to the newest type of USB-C port?"
Two main reasons: (1) Thinner, so the computer can be thinner. (2) USB-C is a complete solution, since it can be used for power adapter, USB 3.1, Thunderbolt, DisplayPort, and target disk mode (PCs can't do that). There are very few devices that must connect by cable to the computer nowadays, since all recently sold printers connect by Wi-Fi.

If you want to ask about comparing Apple brand computer to Dell or HP or Toshiba or any of 20 other brands, ask a new question.

Typical answers from Windows users who never owned Apple:
"Apple is garbage, cost twice as much for the specs, gets as many viruses as Windows."

Typical answers from Apple users who used Windows before (me):
"Apple's Macs are very reliable, great service, durable, can run all Windows software fine if you want. OS X never gets any virus for me."
