Added outlook account on iPhone and no mail shows up?
I added my outlook account to my iPhone mail settings. I haven't been receiving emails though… I go to outlook.com and I have a bunch of mail. So that tells me something isn't right. Anyone know what I did wrong?
When adding a new mail account make sure it is fully verified by going into the mail app and by going to settings and make sure everything is set up properly.
- Iphone mail shows unread email on homepage when it's read? There's two annoying red notifications of unread emails on my home page even though I don't have any, is there a solution to take that off? I tried resetting phone already. =[
- Inbox shows 1 unread mail but there's no mail, shows on iphone also? There's no mail to read, not in trash, spam, nothing is there and nothing mail wise is missing…
- How to unlink my Outlook account and my Gmail account? A while back, I linked these accounts together somehow (it's been so long I forgot how) so I would only have to access one account to read all my email, but now when I get an email in my Gmail account, I get that exact same email in my Outlook account a few minutes later, and I keep getting notification noises on my iPhone and have to spend time deleting the extra emails. It's really annoying me and I want to undo it, but I don't know how!
- How to setup outlook e-mail on iPhone? I have an iPhone 4s and my job just recently gave me an e-mail address. I want the e-mails to be sent to my phone but I can't figure out how. I get to the point where you choose which e-mail service you use and I've tried both Microsoft exchange and Microsoft Hotmail but I don't know what to put for server, domain, and username. My e-mail is ___@mycompany'sname.com but I access it online through the outlook web app.
